Meet Paralegal Scott Suire
Assistant to Workers’ Compensation Attorney Robert Martina
Scott Suire is paralegal to workers’ compensation attorney Robert Martina. Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Scott has called Lafayette home for most of his life. He loves the community and culture of compassion and hospitality in Southern Louisiana – and also the food!
In 2007, Scott graduated from the University of Louisiana, where he obtained his paralegal certification. He is also a Notary Public, commissioned in February of 2014, and one of only 69 people who passed the exam out of 598 individuals. Since then, he has worked for personal injury law firms as well as insurance defense lawyers. Now, as a paralegal at Galloway Jefcoat, LLP, he acts as the main point of contact for our workers’ comp clients. According to Scott, the most important and rewarding aspect of his job is reaching out to actual men and women whose livelihoods have been disrupted. Amid the sometimes nerve-wracking process of a workers’ comp claim, Scott is there to answer questions and communicate with clients about their cases.
When not at work, Scott enjoys being a dad to his dog, Myloe, and soaking up Lafayette’s culture. On a weekend, you can often find him singing at the local karaoke bar or playing the piano. Although, he also appreciates a night in with a good movie and great wine.
