Why Rusty Galloway
Rusty Galloway began his career not in a courtroom, but on the water and in the oilfield — working as a roughneck and drilling fluid engineer on offshore platforms, vessels, and land rigs. That background gives him something no textbook can: a firsthand understanding of the pressures, hazards, and industry norms that oilfield and maritime workers navigate every day.
Since 1996, he has translated that knowledge into results for injured workers and their families across Louisiana. Rusty practices at a sophisticated level — capable of handling complex federal maritime claims under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, Jones Act cases, and serious personal injury matters in both state and federal court.
His clients are never handed off. Rusty personally handles every case from intake through resolution — and his deep familiarity with Fifth Circuit precedent means he is equally at home in the district court and on appeal.
