Johnae Jefcoat-Broussard, a Lafayette, Louisiana resident, grew up in Scott, Louisiana. Johnae is now working alongside her father, John M. Jefcoat, at the law firm she grew up in, Galloway Jefcoat. Johnae is excited to start her law career at Galloway Jefcoat.
Johnae obtained her bachelor’s in Political Science along with minors in French and Leadership Development at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and went on to receive a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. During her college career, Johnae served in the Louisiana House of Representatives for the Clerk of the House assisting legislators and staff members during Legislative Sessions. She also interned with current Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry, while he was a congressman in Washington D.C. Johnae graduated from The Southern University Law Center in 2019.
Johnae is licensed to practice before all state courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
Johnae is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, Louisiana Association for Justice, and the American Association for Justice.

Johnae is married to Dylan Broussard. They have a golden retriever, Parish. Johnae enjoys teaching dancing at June’s Dancers, a dance studio in Lafayette, as well as reading, playing tennis, and traveling. She continues to live her favorite motto “to live each day, honor bright” through her career and personal life.
