Robert Doggett is an attorney who joined Galloway Jefcoat in 2019. Robert brings with him valuable experience in various areas of the law, from litigating plaintiff personal injury lawsuits to defending small and medium sized businesses against the IRS and state tax authorities.
Originally from Alexandria, Louisiana, Robert moved to Baton Rouge in 2009 where he obtained his bachelor’s degree from LSU. Robert went on to receive his law degree from Southern University Law School, graduating Magna Cum Laude and ranking in the top 10 of his class. While in law school, Robert served as an editor of the Southern Law Review and a member of both the Trial Advocacy executive board and Maritime Law executive board.
Robert is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association, the Lafayette Bar Association, the LafayetteYoung Lawyer’s Association, the American Association of Justice as well as the Louisiana Association of Justice. He is licensed to practice before all state courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana. Outside of the office, Robert enjoys being outdoors and on the water whenever possible.
